Lisa is an actor, writer & comedian based in new york city
ABOUT
Hey! I’m Lisa (they/them) I’m an actor and writer originally from Long Island. I’m most interested in telling stories that give voice to underrepresented groups, and aim to bring humor, complexity and heart to every character.
I’m a BFA Acting graduate of Point Park University, and have studied in NYC with Heidi Marshall Studios and The Barrow Group. Favorite theater credits include Fun Home, The Wolves, and the original cast of Incident At Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
In 2023, I was awarded Best Actor at the First Frame Film Festival’s self-tape competition, and was a finalist for Primary Stage’s Echoes Writers cohort for my play God Mic in 2024. I’ve performed comedy at The People’s Improv Theater and The Upright Citizens Brigade, and have one well received TikTok impression.
I’m a member of Actors Equity Association and the Ring of Keys network, an arts advocacy organization that connects and promotes the work of queer and trans/GNC theatre artists. (Connect with Keys through the member directory with this link).
I’m currently represented by The Josh Brown Group and UGA.
For the record, I’m a double Aquarius and can be found on social media @lisa_naso
